Tech Tools Technology
The Tech Tools, A Developmental Technology Library offers adaptive technology libraries at ten popular locations in Nebraska. Hundreds of adapted tools and devices are available for children, teens, adults and professionals at no cost!
We all have different abilities, so too are their methods of operating devices and accessing information. The use of adapted toys and devices decreases physical and social barriers to play, enabling individuals at varied functional levels to actively explore and achieve some independence. By equalizing play through these modifications, the users learn about the cause-effect relationships and practice creative problem-solving.
