Go Baby Go!
Go Baby Go!
United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska offers a program called Go Baby Go! which provides free modified, ride-on cars to qualified candidates who are approximately 9 months to 6 years of age with special needs who experience limited mobility. Go Baby Go! is an initiative started at the University of Delaware by Cole Galloway to provide opportunities for early independent movement, socialization, and overall skill development for children with mobility limitations.
Hayes was one of UCP of Nebraska’s first Go Baby Go! recipients. When he received his modified car his Mom said, “I put Hayes in the car, placed his hands on the switch and off he went! Pure joy the entire time he was driving. Hayes was dancing in the sunshine, he loves his car so much! We are so very excited for Hayes to have some freedom outside this Spring/Summer!
